Mission Exploration Team Members - METeam
Please feel free to contact any member of the METeam to share your questions. All members of the congregation will be asked to help discern the future of Mission at Galilee.

Barb Barthel “I feel blessed to have the opportunity in many of the ministry groups offered at Galilee. I feel called to offer up these interactions and ministries as they provide a good cross-section of who and what Galilee is as we consider our values, beliefs and goals in where we are now and want to be in our future.”

Daryl Berg “One, God gave me the ability to lead and make tough decisions. Two, I have not been involved a lot in the church for a long time. God has called on me to lead a more active role in the church."

Lisa Brooks-Raschka “I have experience and talents in establishing a vision for an organization and then translating that vision into a strategic plan and tactical objectives. I felt called to serve on the MET team because of my interest and passion around the youth and ensuring that we are doing all we can to help them develop a life-long relationship with Christ, and because of my interest in ensuring that we are fully assimilating new members into the Galilee family.”

Phil Godden “I feel that God has called me to serve because: One, we are new members who looked at many churches before joining Galilee; two, I have a passion for being part of a community that is supportive and encouraging for youth, and three, I love to be a part of music ministry.”
Dave Groth “A significant portion of my professional responsibilities over the years had me gathering and analyzing data, formulating proposals, and writing and editing. I'm looking forward to applying similar efforts as part of the MET process at Galilee.”

Jenni Hintze “Only God knows why he called me to serve on the MET. I do know that I am exactly where God wants me to be at this time in my life and I am very excited to see what lessons I might take away from this experience.”

Bill Katt “To help equip Galilee in its future endeavors.”

Michael Olson

Jill Plesh “I think God knows that I like to challenge myself and was pushing me in the MET direction. When I received the letter asking me to be on the team I just felt it was right.”

Sarah Spencer “The gifts God has given me to use as I serve on the MET team include a sense of history at Galilee combine with a desire to build for the future of my children. God has also given me the opportunity to serve on numerous committees both in a professional capacity and a volunteer capacity that involve process improvement and transformational system changes. I am looking forward to answering God's call.”
